आम आदमी पार्टी (AAP) के राज्यसभा के दो-तिहाई सांसदों द्वारा भारतीय जनता पार्टी (BJP) में विलय का दावा करते हुए एक बड़ा राजनीतिक घटनाक्रम सामने आया है। AAP सांसद राघव चड्ढा ने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में कहा कि उन्होंने पार्टी की गतिविधियों से इसलिए दूरी बनाई क्योंकि वे “गलत कामों” का हिस्सा नहीं बनना चाहते थे। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि AAP अब अपने मूल सिद्धांतों और मूल्यों से भटक चुकी है और देशहित के बजाय निजी लाभ के लिए काम कर रही है। चड्ढा के अनुसार, राज्यसभा में AAP के कुल 10 सांसदों में से दो-तिहाई से अधिक इस फैसले के साथ हैं और उन्होंने इस संबंध में दस्तावेज सभापति को सौंप दिए हैं। उन्होंने इसे “सकारात्मक राजनीति” की दिशा में उठाया गया कदम बताया और कहा कि वे अब जनता के और करीब रहकर काम करना चाहते हैं।
